Since the beginning of this year, the growth rate of the value added of the machinery industry has continued to be higher than that of the industrial and manufacturing industries last year, and the growth rate has remained above 10%. From January to June, the added value of the machinery industry increased by 10.9% year-on-year, which was 4 percentage points and 3.5 percentage points higher than the industrial and manufacturing industries in the same period, which was higher than the mechanical industry's 3.1 percentage points in the same period of last year. Economic benefits have increased rapidly. From January to June, the machinery industry achieved a main business income of 12.51 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%, higher than the 4.92 percentage points in the same period of the previous year. The total profit reached 857.6 billion yuan, an increase of 14.69% year-on-year, 8.16 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year; the output of major products increased year-on-year. Among the 119 major products monitored by the machinery industry in the first half of the year, 94 products achieved year-on-year growth, accounting for 79%, of which 45 products changed from year-on-year decline to year-on-year growth. The localization of major equipment has developed in depth.
